Cookie Policy
Clear choices for necessary storage, optional analytics and external media.
1. What ASR stores in your browser
ASR uses browser storage that is necessary to operate secure areas of the website, remember access/session state, preserve selected workspace interface preferences and store your privacy choice. These technologies are not used for advertising.
The current ASR build does not load optional analytics or advertising trackers by default. The consent system is already wired so that any future optional analytics or external-media script must remain inactive until the relevant category is enabled.
2. Categories
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Authentication, secure access, session state, functional workspace preferences and the consent record itself. | Always on |
| Analytics | Optional audience measurement, only when a configured analytics tool is present and you consent. | Off |
| External media | Optional embedded third-party media that may read or store information on your device. | Off |
3. Consent record
Your cookie preference is stored as a first-party consent record named asr_cookie_consent_v1, with a local-storage fallback. It records only the categories you selected, the consent-system version and timestamps. The preference expires after approximately six months, after which ASR can ask you again.
4. Secure member areas
Signing in to ASR may create browser-storage entries required by the authentication provider and ASR portal scripts. Guest access and some workspace tabs can also use session storage. These items are functional and are not disabled by rejecting optional cookies because doing so would prevent the requested secure service from working.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can reopen the preference panel at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting optional categories prevents newly gated optional scripts from loading. If an optional third-party technology has already been activated during the current page session, refresh the page after changing your choice to ensure it is no longer loaded.
6. Third-party infrastructure
ASR uses service infrastructure required to operate the website, including Supabase-backed functionality and CDN delivery for selected software libraries. Network requests necessary to provide the service are separate from optional analytics/marketing tracking and remain available when optional consent is rejected.
7. Contact
Questions about privacy or browser storage can be sent to contact@asr-lab.online.
